The Department of Chemistry is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Computational Chemistry to teach, at both undergraduate and graduate level, in Physical and Theoretical Chemistry and to undertake and publish world-class research to complement and expand the existing activities of the department.
The candidate will be expected to attract research funding to support their own research programme, contribute to teaching and undertake the administrative duties expected of a member of academic staff. They will also be expected to raise funds in order to support their research programme, postdoctoral research staff and PhD students.
